Sensational Hog!

.
Our up and coming guitar guru, Delilah doggy, is absolutely awestruck over our newest acoustic arrival and has decided that the D-18GE 1934 is her favorite recent Martin offering. MandoMutt and I have to agree. For the money, these Hogs are the best sounding guitar Martin is producing right now and this particular example is second to none!

Specs and features; stunning Adirondack Spruce top with scalloped Adi Golden Era braces, Mahogany back/sides, Ebony fretboard with "Old Style" 18 (Abalone) position dot inlays, Ebony bridge, Waverly open back tuning machines with Butterbean knobs and C.F. Martin & Co. Nazereth, PA headstock stamp on back of headstock.

To my ear, the D-18GE's sound so much cleaner than their rosewood cousins. Play this guitar side by side with any HD-28 and this would be my choice. No brainer.

This guitar sounds wonderful, featuring a warm, articulate voice. Highs, mids and lows are all clean. Sweet when you need it, but a beast when required. Near perfect setup as well. A real pleasure to play.

Near Mint condition with only the lightest play wear. I really can't see anything worth mentioning. Looks new.

Includes original Martin "Geib" style case with vintage green interior. Trades gladly considered on this fine Martin guitar.

This is a custom built, one owner acoustic guitar, built by Todd Sams of Athens, Ohio. Todd is a member of the Stew-Mac team and his guitars are played by great flatpickers like Wyatt Rice and Clay Hess.

The goodies; Appalachian Bear Claw (rare) Red Spruce top, bracing and side strips, Beeswing/flamed Mahogany back & sides, Brazilian Rosewood bindings (nice!), Green Abalone Soundhole Rossette, Ebony fretboard, 1-3/4" nut width, Green Abalone Diamonds and Squares fretboard inlay Brazilian Rosewood headstock veneer, Herringbone Purfling and Waverly open back tuners with Ebony buttons.

A delicious sounding guitar featuring a full, warm and bold tone with outstanding volume and sustain. Extremely responsive and evenly balanced. This guitar is a beast.

She's in near mint condition overall. A couple items to note; first, the top has two finish checks on lower bout near pickguard. Bot are a couple inches long. Other than that, she's like new.

There's a lot to like about this guitar. It sounds wonderful, it plays so easy with a very comfortable neck and the woods are a visual feast. The Adirondack top is stunning. Prettiest Red Spruce I've seen. We have this guitar on consignment and the owner is a scientist. He experimented with some lighting and found that he could speed up the "aging" of the wood significantly. The top looks like it's 15-20 years old.

Includes Guardian hard shell case. Trades considered on this fine acoustic guitar.

Our up-and-coming guitar guru, Delilah Doggy, absolutely adores mahogany guitars and this special Taylor gem provides a lot to be excited about. We don't get many Taylor guitars, but we sure like `em when we have `em. WOOF!

Mighty fine sounding axe, really sweet, brilliant highs, solid mids and the Engelmann provides good low end. Exceptional setup, nice low action. Previous owner had a McEntyre under saddle pickup installed. Sounds super plugged!

Super clean guitar, Mint condition. No flaws or blemishes worth mentioning. You won't find a cleaner 16 year old guitar.
