2013 Skip Kelley A-5 Black FaceMore Details
We sold this little hoss, new back in 2013, and just re-acquired it in a trade. Still in near new condition and features a lovely black top, one piece Maple back and a delicious voice.

Skip Kelley S/N 43 features; Adirondack Spruce black top, Big Leaf Maple Back (one piece), sides and neck in an oil Varnish finish with 3-ply bindings throughout. Radiused Honduran Rosewood fretboard and nickle hardware includes engraved James tailpiece and Stew-Mac tuning gears with black buttons. Exquisite!

Strong mandolin featuring a huge voice and an evenly balanced woody tone. One of the best sounding new Red Spruce topped mandolins we've ever played. Really. To think that she's right out of the box and basically unplayed is remarkable. Extremely responsive instrument with a brutal bluegrass chop.

Near mint condition with ultra light play wear and very minor fret wear.

Offered with TKL case. Trades gladly considered on this fine American made instrument.

Bluegrass Beast!

2000 Flatiron Festival F-5More Details
Exceptionally strong Flatiron, built by Gibson during the Charlie Derrington/Sim Daley era. It features a powerful mid-rangy sound and good appointments.
