Mighty fine A-5 style with tone bar bracing and upscale appointments including: Bear Claw Sitka Spruce top over highly flamed Maple back/sides/neck in an attractive walnut gloss lacquer finish, 3-ply bindings on body and headstock and single Ivoroid fretboard binding. Radiused Ebony fretboard with M.O.P. position inlays, adjustable Ebony Brekke bridge and gold hardware including a cast Weber tailpiece and Schaller tuning machines. Topped off with an elegant Abalone modified flowerpot headstock inlay.

Excellent sounding mandolin, with a dry articulate voice, good volume and superb chop. Versatile instrument will suit just about any style.

Excellent-plus condition overall showing light play wear, mainly pick marks and very minor fret wear. Looks to have had one rather significant ding near bass f-hole that has been professionally touched up and is now barely noticeable, in fact, if I didn't tell you about it, you likely never see it. Fretboard extension has been professionally scooped and an abbreviated Ebony pickguard has been added. Finish has been removed from back of neck.
