Groovy!!!

.
Well, this is one cool toy, no doubt and you know that big boys need toys too! I guess you'd call this an Octave-Guitar hybrid. This bad boy features a "D" hole, archtop, jazz style body with a 23.5" scale length, 1-7/16" nut width and "X" bracing. Can you say Suuhweeet?

Other goodies; solid Spruce (looks like Sitka) top in an attractive, light sunburst matte finish, nicely figured Mahogany back/sides/neck and Ivoroid bound top, fretboard and headstock. Ebony fretboard and bridge, cast Weber tailpiece. Headstock overlay and pickguard appear to be striped Ebony, but I'm not positive.

As you can imagine, this instruments sound is somewhere between an Octave and a Guitar. To my ear it sounds closer to a guitar, but still quite unique. Full, rich and throaty tone. Kind of mournful sounding. Very responsive. Excellent volume.

Brand new instrument without any issues and is offered with a very stout Weber hard shell case.

Trades gladly considered on this fine instrument.
