Limited Edition

.
Short production run of 279 in 1997, WMB stands for Wood Binding, More Bass or perhaps simply With More Bass. Apparently built with scalloped and/or forward shifted bracing, wood bindings and premium woods.

Specs; Sitka Spruce top that has aged to a gorgeous warm amber color, East Indian Rosewood back and sides, Multiple body bindings highlighted with Rosewood, Abalone soundhole rosette, Mahogany neck, Ebony fretboard without position dots or inlay, 1-11/16" nut width, cutaway body style, gold Grover tuners and and undersaddle pickup (unknown make) with end pin jack.

Spectacular sounding guitar. Not much online information available n this model, but some reviews called the WMB tone a combination if Martin low end and clear, pure Taylor mids and highs. I'd say that's a fairly accurate description. Definitely a warm, punchy guitar with precise note separation, and quite loud. Also features an outstanding setup with low action.

Excellent to Excellent minus condition. Has several fairly significant dings on the top, including one lower bout that can be seen in photos, around 1/4" diameter. Upper bout shows several dings in area where arm rests, one of which has a tiny finish crack from indention to edge of binding. Bindings have a few finish pings. Back and sides are relatively clean with one or two smallish dings.

All-in-All, a remarkable guitar. Top notch tone and volume, easy to play and still eye candy in spite of the dings and pings. Will shine and impress in nearly any genre. A difficult guitar to put down.

Includes original Taylor hard shell case.
